This ruined palace in Knossos is the largest and most spectacular of all Minoan palatial centres. The structure spreads over 20,000 square meter of lands with height reaching four storeys. It was constructed in a labyrinth-like pattern and it provided housing for thousands of people. Colorful frescoes, figures and paintings on plaster, fills most of the walls.
