As seen with olympic rings, this stadium hosted the very first revived Olympic Games in 1896, after it has been ceased in 393 AD. (Olympia, Greece was the birthplace of the original olympic games in 776 BC.) However, the history of this impressive site goes a long way back. The first stadium constructed on this site was made of wood in 330 BC and was used for athletic competitions and great festivities in ancient Greece. The transformation and restoration took place at the end of 19th century into white marble, in a shape of inverted horseshoe, as it is today. (Athens, Greece / 2006)

Vlihada Cave
Diros caves are the most beautiful caves in Greece, and one of the best in the world as well. The Vlihada cave is the only one open to the public. The entrance is a narrow passageway and is few meters above the sea. From the entrance, the sightseers have to pass numerous chambers and arches while enjoying various stalactites and stalagmites in a very creative formation. The cave is 3.5 km long and has a temperature of 18 degrees C. (Peloponnese, Greece / 2007).
